We all need to be heard, cared for, and valued

A counselling session is a safe and creative opportunity to reconnect with your own knowing of what's needed in your particular circumstances.   We get there in different ways: by simply being heard, by being supported to make plans with concrete steps, by learning new maps of how to work with our bodies, minds, and emotions.  

Counselling is one way we can find unique insights and solutions to recover a sense of integrity, healing, and insight.

An effective counselling session both asks and gives a lot: courage, honesty, deep listening, curiosity, and a sense of humour are the risks and investments we make to come back to ourselves and move forward in a way that's creative, connected, and engaged.  Mindfulness practice is the theoretical and practical foundation of my counselling work, although I draw on a wide variety of tools and perspectives.  My practice is informed by my personal yoga and meditation practices as well my personal work with inspiring therapists and teachers.
